Since the time of the Pharaohs in ancient Egypt, the prestige of the Signet, usually in the form of a ring, quickly established the importance and opulence of the person wearing it. If you owned a signet, you were a person of great significance.  Signets were so personal … so important … that fathers would pass them on to their sons for generation after generation.

The Signet Elevator represents a return to the days when elegance, craftsmanship, and quality were the true benchmarks of luxury. With unparalleled form and function, all our Signet options will surely satisfy even the most discerning tastes.

The Signet, without question, is the premier custom-built elevator in the world, and having one in your home is the mark of unquestioned taste and quality.

Your home is more than just a building where you live.  Put an emphatic “signature” on your home by adding a Signet Elevator that has been built to your exacting specifications and tastes.

ThyssenKrupp Access has introduced the first fully customizable residential elevator in the world, The Signet.  Based on the same state-of-the art operating system that is incorporated in the USA’s number one selling residential elevator brand, The LEV.

The Signet allows the owner more control over the interior finishes in their home elevator.

“More and more builders, designers and architects were bringing us requests for something truly out of the ordinary” says Jim Quinly, General Manager, Residential Elevator Division, ThyssenKrupp Access.

The Signet is anything but ordinary. Customers can choose from a wide array of finishes including veneers, glass, marble, granite and decorative metals that will really put a personal stamp on any elevator interior. Consumers can even use the new Design Your Own Cab feature.

“Peoples homes are a reflection of them and can be highly personal. We want our customers to feel that whatever design statement they want to make, we can accommodate. If they can dream it we can build it,” Quinly said.

The Signet, like the LEV, is available in both the popular counterweighted chain drive system that eliminates the need for an additional machine room, and the roped hydraulic system.
